Anna Mária Hansjürgens (Hungary)

She is a clinical psychologist, a psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapist and a candidate of the Hungarian Psychoanalytical Society. She worked for 7 years in different wards of a general hospital in Budapest including the psychiatric unit, the Intensive Care Unit and gynecology. 7 years ago she retired from the hospital to open her private practice with adults in psychotherapy and now in psychoanalysis. She is a staff member of a post-graduate clinical psychology program at the Janus Pannonius University at Pécs in Hungary. Her special interests are perinatal psychology and multilingual and public work on mental disorders. About these topics she has been publishing regularly in national journals and media. Since adolescence, she had the opportunity of living and working in different countries in Eastern and Western Europe therefore she feels capable of understanding cultural differences, motivations and fears and work with people of different culture, language and backgrounds.
